Hello, another interesting stamp tonight I think.  From Bangladesh, not a country I have many of I must admit. It shows a De Havilland DH50.  The stamp was issued in 1978. One of a set of 4. I must try to find the other three.

The first aircraft flew in August 1923 and was used within a few days by Alan Cobham to win a prize for reliability during trial flights between Copenhagen and Gothenburg. A second aircraft, the one shown on the stamp, tail G-EBFO had newer air cooled Armstrong Siddeley Jaguar engines and was the aircraft Cobham flew on his memorable flight from England to Australia in 1926.

Enjoy your flying and your aerophilately    Michael
